Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 1 November 2026
Please read these terms before using this website or buying anything from me. They explain what you can expect from me, what I expect from you, and your rights if you change your mind.
1. Who I am
These terms are between you and Caroline Staples, trading as The Nourish Nurse® ("I", "me", "my"). I'm based in Nottinghamshire, England.
Email: info@thenourishnurse.co.uk
These terms cover thenourishnurse.co.uk, my booking pages, my Stan Store page, and any other pages I run, along with the products and services you buy from me.
2. What I offer, and what I don't
I'm a Registered Mental Health Nurse. Everything I offer, including calls, programmes, guides, meet-ups and online content, is nurse-led health education and coaching.
I do not diagnose, treat or prescribe, and nothing I share replaces advice from your GP or another qualified healthcare professional. Please speak to your GP before making changes to your diet, exercise, supplements or medication, especially if you have a medical condition, take regular medication, or are pregnant or breastfeeding.
My services are not an emergency or crisis service. If you are unwell or worried about your safety, contact your GP or NHS 111, or call 999 in an emergency.
3. Buying from me
When you pay for a product or service, a contract is formed between you and me on these terms.
Payments are taken securely through Stripe on my booking pages, or through Stripe or PayPal on my Stan Store. I never see or store your full card details.
The price you pay is the price shown when you buy. I may change my prices in future, but that won't affect anything you've already paid for.
4. Founder and promotional rates
From time to time I offer a founder or promotional rate for a limited number of places or a limited time. The terms of each offer, including when it ends, are shown on the sales page. Once an offer ends, the standard price applies.
5. Clarity Call refund
If you book a 1:1 programme at the full price within seven days of your Clarity Call, I'll refund your £147 Clarity Call fee to your original payment method within five working days of your request. Just email info@thenourishnurse.co.uk once you've booked.
This refund doesn't apply to founder or other discounted rates, which are already my best price.
6. Your right to cancel
If you buy from me online, you have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of the day you buy (your "cancellation period").
Calls and 1:1 programmes
- If you cancel within the 14 days and no sessions have taken place, you'll receive a full refund.
- If you ask for your call or sessions to start within the 14 days, you agree to pay for any sessions already delivered. If you then cancel within the 14 days, I'll refund the rest.
- After the 14 days, payments are non-refundable, except for Clarity Calls cancelled with at least 48 hours' notice (see section 7). If your circumstances change, please talk to me and I'll always try to find a fair way forward.
Digital products, such as downloadable guides or recorded content
- If you ask to access a paid digital product straight away, you agree that your 14-day right to cancel ends once you've started downloading or streaming it.
To cancel, email info@thenourishnurse.co.uk with your name and what you bought. Refunds are made to your original payment method within 14 days of your cancellation.
7. Booking, moving and missing sessions
You'll book your sessions with me directly. Sessions take place online, by Zoom or Teams, unless we've agreed to meet in person.
If you need to move a session, please email info@thenourishnurse.co.uk at least 48 hours beforehand, with the subject line "Call cancellation" and the date and time of your session. I'll rearrange it with you.
If you give less than 48 hours' notice, or don't attend, the session will count as delivered and can't be rearranged, unless there's a genuine emergency. I'll always be reasonable about that.
Clarity Calls
- If you cancel or move your Clarity Call with at least 48 hours' notice, you can choose a full refund or a new time.
- If you give less than 48 hours' notice, or don't attend, the fee isn't refundable, but I'll offer you one free reschedule as a goodwill gesture.
- This sits alongside your 14-day right to cancel in section 6. If you cancel within 14 days of booking and your call hasn't taken place, you'll always receive a full refund.
If I need to move a session, I'll give you as much notice as I can and offer you another time. If I can't deliver a session at all, I'll refund you for it.
8. Message support
Where a programme includes message support, I'll reply Monday to Friday, during working hours, usually within one working day. Message support isn't for urgent or emergency concerns.
9. Confidentiality
What you share with me in sessions stays between us. The exception is if I believe you or someone else is at serious risk of harm. Then, in line with my professional duties as a nurse, I may need to share information with the right services, and where possible I'll talk to you about it first.
How I handle your personal information is explained in my Privacy Policy.
10. My responsibilities to you
I'll provide my services with reasonable care and skill, as the law requires. If something isn't right, please tell me, and I'll do my best to put it right.
Everyone's body and circumstances are different, so I can't promise any particular result from working with me.
I'm not responsible for losses that weren't foreseeable, for business losses, or for problems caused by things outside my control, such as internet outages or third-party platforms like Zoom, Stripe or PayPal. Otherwise, my total liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid me for the product or service concerned.
Nothing in these terms limits my liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
11. My content
The guides, videos, recordings, worksheets and other materials I share are my copyright. They're for your personal use only. Please don't copy, share, sell or publish them without my written permission.
12. This website
I work hard to keep the information on this website accurate and up to date, but it's general education and not personal advice. Links to other websites are for your information, and I'm not responsible for their content.
13. Emails
If you've agreed to hear from me, I'll send you emails with tips, programme details and offers. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
14. Changes to these terms
I may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your purchase is the one in place when you bought.
15. Complaints
If you're unhappy with anything, please email info@thenourishnurse.co.uk. I'll reply within five working days and do my best to resolve it.
16. The law that applies
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest will still apply.
